When you open the "J2EE engine" view in Eclipse, are all traffic lights green?

Hi

Please check your preferences. You have not set the preferences of your J2EE engine in NWDS. After setting it under the menu path Windows>Preferences>SAP J2EE engine. enter the name of your WAS host and the port.

Then check on the J2EE engine tab if all the lights are green as per what armin suggested.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

try the password which you are using to login to windows (the one which use during ctrl + alt + delete).

while deploying the WebDynpro applications in NWDS subjected SAP WAS is up

hi,

Go to

c:\usr\sap\<Instance>\JC00\SDM\programs\remotegui.bat

click on that and see whether you are able to log on to sdm

The default password will be sdm.

Rohit
