SAP Netweaver 2004s Support Release 2 on Windows XP Home.

I am getting Error while installing SAP Netweaver 2004s Support Release on windows XP home edition.

I have installed oracle 10.2g and jdk1.4.2_12. I am using J2E as SID and I have created the users J2Eadm and SAPServiceJ2E with adminstrator previlage and password protected.

I am getting error at step 3 ie "Create users for SAP system".

specifically at "Creating account mypc\Backup Operators for System J2E.."

mypc is the name of my computer.

I am attaching the Error log below. I am struggling with this for more than a week. I have the following questions too.

(1) Can we install NW2004s in windows XP Home?

(2) Did anyone face the above mentioned problem?

(3) Is there any workaround for this?

(4) Am I missing any pre installation settings?

long story short:

xp (specially NOT the home version) is not among the supported operating systems to run any sap system...use either windows 2000 server or 2003 server

Thanks for the info. I tried it in windows 2003 server throug vmware..

It is working fine..
