Problem at good confirmations

Hi gurus,

We have implemented the classic scenario on SRM 5.0.

We need to confirm a goods receipt confirmation with reference to a purchase order generated at backend system (R/3 version 4.6C).

The purchase order is part of a shopping cart follow on documents and was created with reference to a purchase requisition on backend system.

But when we log in SRM with vendor user (from the purchase order) and execute "confirm goods/service" option, the system only shows the purchase order header and not the position making impossible the goods confirmation.

On the other side, if we log in SRM with a user (without linking to any vendor and belong to a organizational unit), the system shows all purchase order information (header and positions) and allow do the confirmation.

We want to use one level confirmation workflow, but at this moment only have activated without levels confirmation workflow.

Please if anyone has known or know the same situation, please send me full information (configuration, missing software components, users roles/profiles, etc) about to solve the problem.

Hi Miranda,

The requestor / employee of the SRM can do the confirmation for the shopping carts created by him / her.

On the other hand SUS needs to be activated in case the vendor needs to have access to all the purchase order information (related to the vendor) and to perform the confirmation of purchase order.

Please check whether SUS (Supplier Self Service) is active or not.

The client where we are implementing SRM 5.0, doesn't want to use XI.

Do you know if XI is mandatory to be installated in order to use SUS?

Could you tell me, in single steps, how configure SUS and his prerequisites to cover my issue?

Hi,

The document flow between SRM and SUS is through ABAP proxies. Thus XI is very much required for this.
