Performance in XI is depends on:

1) Hardware sizing, Memory setup

2) Design of Interfaces

3) Design of BPM (better to avoid Transformation steps in the BPM if possible)

4) Type of Mapping

5) Volume of data and Frequency of the data.

6) Configuration

It also depends on many parameters.

1) Content conversion

2) Hardware used/memory size

3)Frequency of the messages

The RWB provides performance monitoring specific to usage type PI. The RWB user interface offers several ways to create performance statistics. The main parameters are the message throughput and the latency.

Hi,

1) You use Performance Monitoring to display statistical data on the performance of message processing

where the data comes from the Integration Server (IS) or the Process Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI).

2) The Central tool for Performance Monitoring is the Runtime Workbench, which you call from the SAP Exchange Infrastructure start page

3) You Use Performance Monitoring to display the following data:

a) Aggregated overview data for message processing

b) Individual overview data for message processing

c) Aggregated detailed data for message processing performance

d ) Individual detailed data for message processing performance

4) Also,the Performance Monitoring in the Runtime Workbench is based on data collected from the Integration Server and the Process Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI) at runtime.
