LDAP credentials

Is there any way to check the LDAP credentials through portal in the middle of any application?

I heard that we can use LDAPConnection for that.But i dont know how to use it in Webdynpro.

can anybody help me on this

Hi,

According to my application the user doesnt have to login to see the application.

In the first screen the application prompts him to select an application from the dropdownList and to enter the userID and Password.

if the userID and Password for the selected application is present in the LDAP we can proceed.Otherwise we have to show him that the selected application is not assigned to the user. And proceed with the adding procedure.
