Multiple addresses for Storage Location

Hi,

There is an option of maintaining multiple addresses for storage locations. What is the purpose of this? If we maintain multiple addresses, will the system throws a pop up to select the address of choice at the time of sales order?

It is possible to create several addresses for a stroge loc. You can give seq number for each. Spro - Enterprise Structure- Definition-Materials Management-Define Stor Loc.

Several addresses might be used to cover some different type of printouts for a certain storage loc. MM postings might use different format of address or different piece of data(detailed/summarized) or SD documents should use different address for a certain storage loc.
