If the Management's credit policy requires decentralized credit management, you can define credit control area for your customer for each company code.

If your credit management is centralized, you can combine your company codes in one credit control area.

thanks

hi,

the other scenario is there are morethan one company code that have been placed in different locations which have ben assigned to one client. the customer is getting stochk from all these company cides. if there is online process between company codes, then you can maintain one credit control area and all company codes can be assigned to this credit control area. this process is called as Centrolized credit control area.

if there is no online process among these company codes, then must define a separate credit control area for each company code. this process is called as Decentrolized credit control area.
