Hi all,
I am a newbie to the SAP products... and I always rely on those "How-to" guides and some other tutorials.
I have seen some "How-to" guides in other forums in the SDN. Is there any links to these "How-to" guides in the Help Portal?
If no, where can I find those "How-to" guides, or even other tutorial in the SDN or some other places?
Thanks and best regards,
Marcus

Hi Marcus,
You find a lot of How-To guides at SAP Service Marketplace:
http://service.sap.com/netweaver
-> SAP NetWeaver 2004 - Release-Specific Information

Hi Marcus,
if you are in particular interested in developer information (e.g.Tutorials), just go to the SAP NetWeaver Developer's Guide here on SDN (in most of the quicklinks or under NW Business Content on the left hand) or use: http://sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developersguide.
When you choose the library link (which leads you to help.sap.com), you will find a complete manual for developers in that area, e.g. Java.
However, you do not have to read the topics in full, instead you should note that below Getting Involved you can find an introduction to the concepts, the topic, and the development environment of the respective area. In the next section, Go & Create, you can find introductory tutorials if you prefer a hands-on approach.
In the Core Development Tasks section, are topics such as business logic, presentation logic, and performance, to name a few. Together with the Reference section, this is the entry point for experienced developers who want to learn about selected aspects of development.
Ensuring Quality contains the procedures for testing, logging, and solving errors.
In the Integration section, where this is included, you can find references to documentation for OEM software that is shipped with NetWeaver.
At the end is the reference section, which includes API documentation, all tutorials, and checklists.
Hope that helps,
sincerely
Heike
