spam DDIC_ACTIVATION error

hi,

I am applying abap patch SAPKA70010 , in DDIC_ACTIVATION

phase i got an error.

action log

Error during executing the tp command 'tp ACT ALL DEV ...'

and also when i am trying to log on to the system, it is showing the short dump.

but when i give the tcode in the command area, it is getting executed. ( I am unable to go to easy access screen ).

Error analysis

The SAP-internal database interface was called with an unknown

function code (parameter "fcode").

The function code specifies the type of the database operation - for

example, INSERT, OPEN, FETCH, ...

The situation points to an internal error in the SAP software

or to an incorrect status of the respective work process.

For further analysis the SAP system log should be examined

(transaction SM21).

For a precise analysis of the error, you should supply

documents with as many details as possible.

Hi Kavitha,

Not necesssarily you have to upgrade kernal , but u have to update tp and r3trans together.
