Database: > ORA-28000: the account is locked

Hi,

This is very important and useful to Basis team.

Recently we installed Netweaver on top of DataBase Oracle. It was successful and running properly. Some one changed the \usr\sap folder sharings it was stopped suddenly and it was not appear in the sapmmc console . I have been changed that folder sharing now it is fine.

But the problem is the disp+work.exe stopping suddenly and SAPSR3 account is lock automatically. I unlocked that user from oracle side it's fine but the server is not running . If i restart the application server the SAPSR3 account again locking .

Please give me some idea how to solve . This is my devolepment server .

Hi,

please read the following notes for details:

Note 400241 - Problems with ops$ or sapr3 connect to Oracle

Note 951167 - ORA-28000 the account is locked

Normally, this problem also occurs with ORA-01017, and it caused by failed to get the password of oracle account 'sapsr3',

you can change the password to 'sap',and unlock user sapsr3 as a temp solution.

(alter user sapsr3 identified by sap)

(alter user sapsr3 account unlock)

Thanks a lot , my problem was solved with u r answer. I have tried the default password 'sap' to unlock SAPSR3. Now it's running properly thanks dear. Can you give me u r mail ID for if i have any problems i discuss with you.
