Hi all,

While transporting RFCs from our Application system to XI system, i am facing a connecttion error with below details.

I have checked for all the login details and those are correct. Can any body please suggest the possible reason and soultion for the same.

Any help will be appriciated.

Unable to establish connection to R/3 system 172.17.126.85 (system=10, client=100) Troubleshooting tips:

Is the target system online?

Check the connection data (note that server names and groups are case-sensitive)

Tips for administrators (see the configuration guide for more details):

Does the user have the required authorizations in the target system?

Is the target system configured correctly in "etc/services"?

Thanks and best regards,

Kulwant

Can u ping the R3 IP from ur XI server?

The problem could be due to incorrect system no.

When u r trying to connect, make sure u have provided proper system name SAP<SID> or R3 system

Yes i can ping.

Also While connecting, it asks for only the IP address and system number. But not any SID? Can you elaborate on that too?

Thanks,

Kulwant

When u double click the SWC, there u will find the option "Connection Data for Import from SAP System". There check if system and client is given properly.

Hi,

What is the entry in the System u have given.

Please provide the info u have mentioned at the time of Namespace creation by enabling the radio button" Enable RFC/ IDOC Import from SAP System"

Regards

Seshagiri
