(urgent) Depreciation Forecast in PS

Hi

Can anyone please explain me the difference between depreciation forecast in PS and IM module? (Please explain me the difference between maintaining the depreciation simulation data at IM node and appropriation request level versus maintaining at the end node of WBS element)?

They are pretty much the same....

However not every customer will decide to

a) use Investment Management or

b) even ensure that every capital element that requires depreciation will have a WBS element

e.g. IM position may exist for a Capital Project to start next year, but no Project or WBS exists as yet. But you want to run the Dep'n calc for this
