Transfer MDM data using OCI

Hi All,

I'm not able to transfer shopping cart items to external application using OCI.

Here is my problem description,

1) Custom catalog repository is created in MDM 5.5 SP6.

2) Created iviews in portal using MDM Technology templates i.e Result Set Iview, Item Detail Iview. These iviews are connected to custom catalog repository.

3) Enabled OCI and provided OCI mapping in the result set iview.

I had configured this as an external catalog in SRM. I am able to see the catalog items, add the items to shopping cart. But when I click on "Order" button I get a portal runtime error.

Can anyone please let me know if I'm missing some steps in this? If you had already done these things then please do share your knowledge.

Hi Rajesh,

What is the portal error that you are getting?

There are some issue setting up the SRM MDM catalog with EP, you might want to consider the following -:

1) Configure the catalog as integrated web service in IMG (recommended).

2) Check all the notes on service market place for the version installed as there seems to be issue with version of security patch on EP and version of catalog.

3) Use httpwatch to check if your OCI form is coming correctly from the SRM MDM catalog.

Last but not the least raise an OSS message.
