Hey,
is it possible to read system meta data of a file that should be read?
I would like to know the date/time the file was created on the file system.

No such direct option available in XI. XI can only read the data send to it. U may write some application at sender side that captures this information and store in a file. This application can run as OS command before message processing at file sender
