Hi Experts,
SP15 for VC is available since yesterday. Today, I think I found the first bug:
Visual Composer SP 15 freezes when compiling an iView containing a filter with an empty expression on a filter field. I.e. when you add a field to your filter, make sure there is always a filter expression given. I.e. selecting "none" on a filter value, will cause the model to compile infinitely. Solution: remove the field you don't have to filter from the filter.
Not a big issue, but still a pitfall.

Benni

Hi,
I am not able to reproduce ur Bug what u told.
Steps:
1.Add an iview
2.add a data service and add the input form to it.
3.Drag a filter from output port and mapped none to one of its fileds.
Result :Succesufully deployed and compiled.
Version SP15
Can u send the model what u created .
I will verufy it .

Hi Govindu,
I tried it again, following exactly your steps. I used a Query as data service. As soon as I select "[none]", the filter text disappears and the expression field "filter" is empty.
When clicking on deploy, VC is compiling XGL endlessly...
As soon as I fill in the filter form with a value (e.g. 500..), it works.
Sending the model to you won't help, I think, as I cannot send you the query.

Benni
Hi Benni,
you crazy guy, why do you always look for bugs?
Use the tool without using the bugs... is it a bug or just a feature... sorry I'm kidding. You know it was a long time in the office today.
Anyway, send me a description of the error and we can send it to the VC dev team, when we have a solution we can update it here.
Best Regards,
Marcel
PS: I hope we will see us soon in the office...
