Work Centers services

Hello,

I have the new SP15 for Solution Manager 4.0, and I'd like to test the new Work Centers functionalities. Problem is, I can't find anywhere which services I have to activate in SICF transaction to get started.

Could someone one give me the list or a link to some documentation about how to setup the Work Centers ?

Hi Thomas,

Have you already tried the IMG activity in SPRO?

Path: SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration - Scenario Specific Settings -> Cross-scenarios Settings -> Work Center -> Activate Solution Manager Services

Is there a complete guide somewhere on the whole setup of this new transaction ?

Hi Thomas,

Execute the transaction again until the time out does no longer occur (3-5 times or even more).

There is some compiling going on.

Indeed, now it's working, but I have a message saying that I'm not assigned to a Work Center. How exactly can I do that ?

You need some further roles, which will activate the various work centers.

Work Center

Information and Configuration Prerequisites

Activate Solution Manager Services

---> Assign Work Center Roles to Users
