Interface mapping problem

Hi Friends,

We are using Idoc To XML Scenario..........from last two days......

XML are not getting generated.............previously it was working very fine...............

we hv checked the ID in the Receiver determination........the interface mapping is not given................

is this mapping is necessary to assign..............?

because previously mapping was not specified but it was working?

pls do some reply if i need to check anything else

Hi,

You shd specify the interface mapping name in interface determination, which will be be appearing in the receiver determination.

Hi

For making the structure converions from IDoc strucutrure to some other XML structure we need the mapping.Anyway you are saying that it was working earlier.Currently it is not working.., Are you facing any errors.Give the error description it would be easy to provide the solutions or ideas..,

Hi,

You have created a message mapping and its interface mapping in the IR. So make a interface determination then receiver determination in ID using that interface mapping.

This will solve your problem

hai ,are you sure that without giving interface mapping the xml file is getting created in the target directory,i wonder how it is possible,you must and should give the interface mapping ,then only the mapping program gets executed and target structure is generated......

Hi,

We should have the Mapping when u want to convert the data into XML.

We use the Interface mapping when ever the mapping is required at run time.

So assigining the Interface mapping in Receiver det is mandatory.
