Forward an old Version of SC to a PROD-Track

Hello,

I am trying to forward an old (already assembled and approved) version of our SC to one of our PROD systems.

The CMS denies the forwarding with the following message:

Forward canceled

Reason: The version(s) you want to forward are lower than the system state version(s) and are already imported in the target track

My question is in a productive scenario, where no bugfix would help in an appropriate time, is it possible to roll back to an older existing version for a PROD-Track? Can this be done by the CMS or is the only possibility over the saved SCA file and the deploy tool directly?

There is a tool to reset the system state so that you can import it even if its lower. I have used it several times with success.

Its called CMS support tool and it should be installed on the machine you are running the NWDI on.
