Hi ...

read below as to why u need a dummy material for value contract i.e WVN has this dummy WKM1

Value contract type WK 2

You can create contracts for one material (usually configurable) with this type of value contract. A software company is an example of where this kind of contract is often used. There, a contract for the value of $500,000 is made with the customer for one specific software product.

You can also agree on the length of the contract for this type. The contract duration can be agreed at item level and can be different from the contract duration specified at header level.

Regards

reward if undestood the significance

Hi,

U can mention the material number here.

The system copies the material specified here to the value contract item, if a material has not already been specified

Thanks,

Pramod

Actually it is a dummy material & doesn't have any stock Normally it has the standard name of WKM1, u can copy the same and create ur own. assign it there. This material will be displayed when u are creating value contract in the overview screen.

The material entered in vov7 provides technical control of the value contract item with regard to tax determination, statistical updates, divisions and other figures derived from the material master.

Hope it is useful
