Splitting a Double stack system to AS ABAP and AS Java

Hello All,

We have a NW 04 Portal System ( AS ABAP ) and due to Performance issues we want to Split the AS ABAP and AS Java separately via System Copy.Has this combination ever been tried and if yes are there any success stories...

Why you have ABAP for a Portal system ??? Did you look into the possibility of adding additional Java Instances to share the load ?

You can goahead with it

You can try using the system copy procedure given with Master Installation CD.
