Modify UME data source from ABAP to LDAP

Hello All,

We have a NW 70 EP system ( with AS ABAP ) and now we want to move the UME to LDAP. Is this Possible...do you have some success stories with this combination.

Hi Srivatsa,

You cannot change the data source once you have selected ABAP. Changing the data source from this configuration is not supported. See

Hello Srivatsa,

UME is a j2ee based component for usermanagement and LDAP is a protocol used by Directory Services.

You can use LDAP directory services as a source for UME.
