Hi experts,

I have a scenario File(FTP) to File (FTP) to archive the xml files within the FTP server.

And when the XI is going unavailable every time it tries to pickup the 600 MB xml files.

Hence made a query basis team to increae the size of the Java heap, to process such huge files.

but basis team came back and suggested to use NFS instead of FTP, as the file i am trying to archive is NFS mounted to the XI Test server. does it mean that we can access that file location with NFS protocol.

And as we have specific authorization to read and delete the file from that FTP location, is it possible to do with the NFS transport protocol?

Presently the size of the java heap is 1024 MB, to what size it should need to be maintained to process such huge files?

Please give your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in Advance,
