Last year, we have configured the UME to read the account and group informations from the Active Directory (LDAP). Its working fine and without problems.
The unique attribute for UME unique ID was set to samaccountname, and it is working fine. However, we can have problems if some accounts or groups in the active directory was renamed. In order to avoid this problem we should use the GUID or SID.
I find out in the visual administrator that exist individual configurations for each kind of object in LDAP (ume.ldap.unique_grup_attribute, ume.ldap.unique_user_attribute and ume.ldap.unique_uacc_attribute).
Has anyone changed this configuration? In each tables should I update the samaccount name to the specific identifier from AD?
I'm facing the same challenge. Did you do anything to achieve this?
