rework order

HI All,

In my production order when during confirmation i have set when the qty is entered in the rework field during confirmation ., it will create a rework prodn order automatically by using trigger point.,

When it is created automatically the routing is copied and BOM is not copied

pls help me to solve this

Hi,

In rework order, there is no need to copy the BOM as in rework scenario, required components are not pre decided but you need to do GI for rework order.

So no predefined BOM needed but you need to issue components as and when need by your process.

Dear Pradeep,

I will reward the points,

for a rework order a ref opn set is assigned and also bom assigned to ref opn set ., when triggering the rework order is created and also the routing is copied

my doubt is why the BOM assigned to the ref opn set is not copied

Also i have tried a rework order (PP03) by creating manually here the BOM is copied how ?
