Managing serial number through multiple instances of SAP AII without OER ?

Hi friends ,

i) How to synchronies and manage serial nos. through multiple instances of SAP AII if OER is not used ?

ii) How to manage the serial no. retrieval when the packaging is done at only one site and the distribution at the other ?

Hi,

You can use the BAPI mentioned below to transfer the packing information to the relevant instance of AII.

The Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI) method AIIPartnerService.PackCreate allows you to load hierarchical pack data into SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure (SAP AII).
