user could not login

Hi All,

I am done with the system copy and also install the license key which is valid till 14.04.2008.

But now if I am trying to login with any user other then sap*, it gives me a message like DB error >>>>>>

Any idea?

Hi,

check Note 760175 - 6.20: Logon not possible (after DB export or system copy)

update the target system kernel.

The problem has been resolved installing the new kernel( 640). also faced some problem while uncaring as the mvcp71.dll and others were missing. So downloaded the R3DLLINST.ZIP.

Now its working fine.

ORA-2525153 is telling you that you don't have a temporary tablespace (usually called PSAPTEMP).

Check the see if you have a temporary tablespace or not.

See Notes 600513 and 659946.

I have found few more details from dev_w0 file like...

Error> Ora-25153 occured when executing SQL Statement ( parse error Offset =12)

Delete from TMSALOGAR

Log BY4=> SQL Error 25153 performing DEL on table TMSALOGAR

BY0=> ORA-25153 Temporary tablespace is empty.

..

....

TH VERBOSE LEVEL FULL.

I have checked the tablespace PSAPTEMP and its okay. Not tried deleting the table. Have checked the table, but no data in it.

what is the SAP version ? What DB is being used ?? What is the exact error that you are coming across ??
