How to convert the normat webdynpro projects in to DC's

Hi Experts,

I have created some webdynpro appplications with using the option of DC.Created as normal webdynpro Projects.

If i want to convert those projects in to DC's.

Is there any procedure or I need to created the DC project right from the Scratch.

Hi ,

1)Goto navigator tab

2)Select the webdynpro project - which ypu want to copy to DC

3)open src - >packages then copy the folders in that and paste them in the same path of the new DC.

4)open model folders - >src - >packages copy the folders under this node and paste them in the same location in new DC.

Hi,

You can create a DC from existing proejct. Follow the steps given below:

File->New->Development Component Project ->Local Development ->My Components->Click on Next->Give some Name to DC->select Type as WenDYnpro->Click on Next

->Now check the check box "Import content from existing local project ->Now select the project you want convert to DC->click on finish.

New DC will be created.

Hi Hazrath,

Which version of NWDS r u using?? Its available in 04s . If u r trying to create the dc in DTR track, u will get the option after creating the activity. If u r creating in myComponents, no need to create the activity, so u will get without that.

Hi,

If you are not using 2004S, just copy src folder content for local project to src folder of DC project.
