Inspection lots with origin 08 not found in search

Hi,

I created inspection lots with origin 08 but I don't find them back with the search functionality in QA02 or QA33.

In customizing I checked in the information system "Define Update for Each Origin" and "Divide Quality Scores Into Classes" and that seems fine.

What other settings do I need?

Canceled inspection lot can not be displayed, check it .

The inspection lots are not cancelled, they are normal active inspection lots.

Are you sure - whether insp lot is created during stock movement ?

Check whether you have activated 08 insp type in matl master?

Yes, there are inspection lots with origin 08.

I entered results and usage decisions already. I can find them back in table QALS. But they don't appear when I search for them within QM.

Hi Jessica,

Identify one of the 'missing' lots via the table entry. Then go to QA03 and look at the inspection lot.

Can you let us know what the system status settings are on it. This might help us figure it out.

I haven't seen ANY inspection lots that won't show up in QA32 or QA33. If they don't, it's usually because of some type of variant, status profile or filter someone has placed on the transaction or user account. This includes cancelled inspection lots which an earlier poster said would not be displayed. That would be incorrect.

here are the different active statuses for the ilot. Seems normal to me. I don't have user statuses.

All the statuses you show appear to be normal just as you indicated. There should be no reason those lots don't display in QA32/33.

What is the maximum number of records on your selection screen?

Put in 08 for your inspection origin. Broaden the creation date range to something ridiculous. Set the maximum number of records to 999999 or leave blank.

You might be running up against the maximum records. That field works funny and doesn't do what you think it does.

Hi Craig, the date was the thing!

In this system, I had to book all movements with posting date in 2003 because they hadn't opened the MM periods since then. So of course the system didn't find any lots in 2008.
