hi, according to your scenario if the file is not getting picked up means how can u see the messages in the sxmb_moni,check whether your FTP connection parameters are specified correctly or not,and also check the structure of the file ...

regarding communication channel monitoring you can monitor it from

RWB-ADAPTER ENGINE-> click on COMMUNICATION CHANNEL MONITORING

if you want to find the adapters list then you can choose ADAPTER MONITOR

note:reward points if solution found helpfull.....

Hi,

When ever the Server is installed freshly means we have to do readyness check

1) Do SLDCHECK

2) Do SXI_CACHE and Complete Cache

3) Check in the RWB is there any Error state for IE And AE

4) Make sure that u have configured the IS as per the BLOG

Hi,

Please check if your Adapter Engine is working fine

Please can you look at this thread. The same issue is resolved here

Also see if your SLDCHECK is fine?

Also check as per below steps

0) Go to RWB-->Cache Connectivity Test and check the status.. and run the refresh over there

1) execute SLDCHECK in XI box

2) Go to SXI_CACHE and refresh the cache also delete the Adapter metadata

3) Check the SAP BASIS SWCV is imported into IntegratioN Repository

4) Refersh the Adapter Metadata cache in SLD>Adminisration>Cache Overview ->Adapter Metadata Cache Refresh

this doc may help u :https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/08438c77-0501-0010-50a0-e39fe8fa0446

Hello,

you can go to sxmb_adm and then Integration Engine Configuration.

Or you go in the SLD to your Business System with the role Integration Server and you will see it in the tab Integration.

Hi,

SXMB_ADM is a transaction-code, you just have to start it, you can also go this way: Exchange Infrastructure -> Administration -> Integration Engine - Administration

Both ways will result in the Integration Engine: Administration

There you will find: Integration Engine -> Configuration -> Integration Engine Configuration

Are you able to see the Adapters while creating the communication channel? if not import the SAP Basis Object into IR.

have you configured the file adapter to pick the file, is it txt or XML. if txt file check the adapter status, in the adapter monitoring for what error you are getting.

if file is getting picked up then there are some IE parameters to log that in the SXMB_MONI....

Hello,

if your file is not picked up there will be no message anywhere.

In which mode is your adapter running (test, delete, ...)?

Which transport protocol you use (nfs, ftp)?

Please check file permissions and path.
