Hi all :

We are using SRM5.0.

We are facing a problem. If I accidently close the IE while changing a document, then logon the system again and click the change button for the same document,an error message occurs, says 'user XXX is processing this document, please try again later.'.So I need to wait maybe about 20 minutes for system to unlock this document.

Does there any way to avoid this situation or shorten the waiting time?Hope someone can give some clue.Tks.

only way to avoid this is to not to close the session when any of the documents are open.

system will lock the document when an update is being done , and when the system is closed without closing the documents , lock entries are not removed.

you have to manually delete the lock entries in the transaction SM12 --> and then start working with the same document again.

Hello Hong,

Another solution is to launch SM04 transaction.

Look for user name on good client, then select the row, click on 'Sessions' button.

Then, for each rows, use the 'End Session' button: this will kill remaining sessions for the user concerned.

Regards.
