Preparing Quality System from Development System

Hi

We have finished work with development system and now planning to prepare Quality system from Development system. Can anybody tell me the step by step process to do so or any document available which describe the process and do's and dont's.

Recommendations for QAS:

Perform a fresh copy of QAS system instead of system copy from DEV.Include QSA system in DEV transport domain.

Apply approved by business/project team configuration transports on QAS.

Reason : there are often unconfirmed developments and test data (simply saying: development garbage) on DEV,

so this way you avoid moving them to QAS/PRD systems. This is critical, as QAS is used for final testing of accepted configuration.

Generally - Avoid refreshing any systems from DEV. The only acceptable system refresh is from PROD system (usually performed for QAS/TEST system),

which has clean/accepted and tested configuration
