SAPCONNECT Send mail to Lotus Notes

Hi,

I would like to know if is possible send mails from SAP to Lotus Notes.

When I send a mail to other destination by SMTP Node, the process works successfully.

But if the destination is a Lotus Notes address this process fails.

Could you help me with this issue?

Yes its posible, please install Lotus Notes Domino MTA.

And configure the notes.ini

$SapDestination=MAIL_GATEWAY_CRMXXX

$SapClient=XXX

$SapUsername=MAIL

$SapLanguage=E

$ObjServerSearchChars="_"

$ObjServerReplaceChars=" "

$ObjClientSearchChars="@ "

$ObjClientReplaceChars="&_"

$ObjServerDontAttachBody=0

$ObjServerAddressIsInternet=1

$ObjServerMinConfirmation=6

$ObjServerChangeRAWtoTXT=1

ask you Lotus Notes admin to accept "smtp relay"or "mail relay" from your SAP server only. This is an anti-spam measures that most SMTP server now have in place.

You need to set up your lotus notes to accept relays from your SAP Server.

If it is not a mather can you send me the steps that I have to do to customize the sistem to be able to send emails to other destinations ( for example Outlook ) by SMTP Node?
