Hi,

as you're using liveCache, you must be an official SAP customer: please also open an official OSS message for your issue.

As to the issue; it seems likely that you're out of semaphores or the ulimits are set incorrectly (or a wrong user used to start the liveCache instance or xserver). I suggest to take a look at OSS note 628131.

You can check the connection to LCA using transaction DB59.

Hi.

Your database is not up or you do not have enough authorization.

Read the note 442944.

I am not familiar with SOLARIS... in win 2003 is drive:\sapdb\data\config.

Try to find the file SID.cfg (like QAS.cfg) in HP-UX the command : " find / -name SID.cfg",i repeat I am not familiar with SOLARIS.

regards.

I'm think it's ok. Can you go to transaction LC10 and connect to your Live Cache?

Also have you a installation Guide for LiveCashe ? Download this document and read " 5.1.1 Setting Up the Connection to the liveCache Instance" -->

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f17e2746-0a01-0010-e7bc-a2b071f0...

Regards.

Give so:

Do step by step as it is written to instructions (5.1.1 Setting Up the Connection to the liveCache Instance)

on what step you see an error?

Regards.
