What is difference between dropdownbykey and dropdownbyindex?

There are two ways to populate the DD.
1.Hardcoding the values(by Using SimpleType)
2.Populating values,which r coming from RFC.
Generally we will prefer DDK for Hardcoding the values by creating SimpleType in Dictionary.
DDI Properties->Selected Key(select the context Attr of SimpleType)
DDI:We can also use DDI to populate the DD by using SimpleType.
Generally we will prefer to use DDI to populate the valuee coming from RFC.
In DDI Properties:text->select Value(from value node1)
View Context:
..ValueNode1(binded to rfc model node)
--->key
-
>Value
U can able to see the DD with values by using both.
There is no diff while displaying the DD.
