conflict resolution

While importing an object from one server to another we come across conflicts.

In this case, we are not able to resolve the conflict as it is not allowing us to edit or even to save. Due to this we can neither activate it nor reject it.

Please give us a valid solution.

Under the conflict tab, identify the object in conflict. Export only that individual activated object from the source system and import it in the target system. Now u will have a new entry under the conflict tab. Delete that entry and then u will be able to delete the previous entries also.

Hi guys;

I´m facing the same problem.

Just changed a existing Message Mapping and tried to transport it to the Quality System via File Transport.

While importing a version conflict occured.

How to get more information about that error?

How to solve this issue?

@Milan how does your solution look like?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Hey,

Check whether the imported object is activated in the source system.

If you are not able to delete the object(in conflict) from your target system then reimport the oblect(make sure it is activated), and then delete the prev objects.

Milan
