Im Question: want to add old Project to a new appropriation request

Hi All

We have a situation like , We want to assign an old project which was already assigned to an appropriation request to a new appropriation request?...Will the system let us do this?...If so ,Do we need to do any additional configuration in the system for this?.

To my knowledge system will not allow you to assign same WBS if this WBS already assigned to an Appr Request.

Loop:

You can delete the Appr request, if the status is still in created or rejected and for this you should have deleted the IM position assignment first.Second: If project assigned to Appr Req is active, system will ask you to check if you can delete the project definition in PS, which defeats our purpose.

But you can still set the deletion flag on Appr Req and then delete the project.

I would suggest to simulate this, before concluding.
