Error receiving mail

Hi

We are working on SRM-MDM Catalog management. When We create a shopping cart and send it for approval, it goes into the approvers mailbox but when he approves or rejects we are not receiving the mail back. We get followin error mail in approvers mail box.

"Your message did not delivered to following recipients:

WF-BATCH@xyz.abc.com" There was SMTP communication problem with the recipitients mail server"

Can anybody help on this issue.

Hi,

I guess the email ID of the requisitioner is set to WF-BATCH@xyz.abc.com and there is no connection made for SMTP communication with an external mail server.Pls check the foll note;

Note 455140 - Configuration of e-mail, fax, paging or SMS using SMTP

See if the foll notes help:

Note 1004137 - How do you know emails have processed

1095649 - E-mail configuration that turns off e-mails

Note 519597 - Offline approval: Name of the approver is incorrect

Note 1140562 - SRM 6.0: Technical user (WF-BATCH) as last changer of doc.

Thanks for your reply.

I have checked the Note 455140 at the time of configuration of Email and setting is as per Note. Also I have checked the Note 607108 and as per this note when i send or receive the mail using TELNET , I am getting the mail in my inbox (SBWP).
