Good Evening

I've a problem with my SAP IDES Installation at University on Red Hat ES Linux (X86_64) and MAxDB.

After a power failure on IBM Server, I can't start SAP anymore..

less /home/SIDadm/startdb.log

Starting database

Starting Database Instance...

ERR

-24994,ERR_RTE: Runtime environment error

1,IPC directory '/sapdb/data/ipc//db:UED' still exists (OS error code 11000)

Opening Database...

ERR

-24806,ERR_NODISPATCHERSTART: cannot start Event Dispatcher

I've tried to remove /sapdb/data/ipc//db:UED directory, but without result. Always the same error.

I have not found any suggestions in SDN Forum, nor in MAXDB error Database webpage (This error number does not exist).

How I can solve the problem???

Hello Luca Sozio ,

1) Are you SAP customer? Did you create the SAP ticket where this problem was reported?

2) Please check, if the SAP Note No. 895992 will help you to resolve the problem.

For the further analysis of the reported problem the additional information will be helpful:

What is the version of your database?

Please update with output of the following commands ::
