LSMW PROBLEM

i am uploading xd01 from excelsheet to sap through lsmw.

the problem is when we creating cust. mast. using xd01 tcode

manually(not using lsmw) with cust. a/c grroup --> 0001 ( sold-to party) many fields like 'pin code' are not compulsary, but when we trying through lsmw with the same cust. a/c grroup --> 0001 ( sold-to party) many fields like 'pin code' are become compulsary.

the prob is many cust.s not provide pin code.

is their any setting(apart from customer a/c grp setting) through which the optional fields become compulsary in lsmw recording. please help.

Hi,

Go to IMG, SPRO - Cross-Application Components - SAP Business Partner - Business Partner - Basic Settings - Field Groupings - Configure Field Attributes.

Try making your changes here, i am sure you can make the pin code field either required or forbidden here and it will surely work.

hello, friend.

try t-code OVT0 and check the fields for customer master, if some are set at compulsory. this is for Logistics General in IMG.

but if the above still doesn't work, also look in IMG > Financial Accounting > AR and AP > Customer Accounts > Master Data > Preparation for Creating Customer Master > Define Screen Layout by Activity (Customer).
