Hi Guru's,
I have to change the instance number of an ABAP+Java system. Is there a seperate procedure to change the system number of the J2EE instance?
Kind regards,
Mark

Hi
You can change the System No. in Java thru configtool. Make sure you also change the Port Nos using the System No. and InstanceProfileName<Sys No.>.
Also changes have to be made in the Instance.Properties file
Follow note for the correction :Note 831812 - Config Tool shows incorrect parameters after System Copy
Hope its clear

As far as I'm aware you need to proceed with a homogenos system copy to change the system number.
