Dep on remaining life of asset

Hi,

How can i meet the requirement of the client, in asset accounting, if he says that his depreciation is based on remaining life period of asset.

That is to say his depreciation percentages will be many.

Is there any std depreciation key which we calculates depreciation on remaining life of asset instead, based on fixed percentage.

Hello,

As I under stand your question.The better option is whichever dep key is used by you make the changes in 'Assigment Of Calculation' in dep key.

Used the chanhe method and change over percentage in dep kay.

I think it is possible. I am not aware of any specific dep key for this, but you assign the proper calculation method to the key.

You may need to do a bit of testing.
