Load Data

Hi Gurus,

I have loaded data into PSA. From there how do I load master data atributes into cube? This is what Monitor Report says.

Request successfully loaded into PSA - start further update

Diagnosis

The request has as data target "only PSA". It arrived there successfully.

System Response

The request has not yet been updated into the data targets.

Procedure

You can now trigger the update manually. The final target is determined in the request tables. You do not have to make any further settings.

Thanks,

Kannan

Hi,

You have two options.

Start Update

Got to RSA15 > Search by request name > Right click > update the request from PSA to target.

This will load to all the targets mapped.

Schedule update

If the same infopackage is loading into mulitple targets you can selectively update targets by scheduling update from PSA and selecting targets.

Steps

Got to RSA15 > Search by request name > Right click > Schedule update > select target > start.

4. Force the request to green in RSMO > Status tab on completion of load (if its in red).

this should only load to the particular target.

Thanks,

JituK

Hi Kannan,

In addition to the updates given by earlier ones, this also will help. Have a look at this.

Go to T - Code "RSMO"---->> Select the Infopackage -

>> Go to Status Tab -

>> There you can find "Process Manually" option in the down side -

>> If u find the "process manually" option, then click on that it will update the data from PSA tables to the corsponding data targets.

Thanks & Regards,

Kotesh.

Hi Kannan.

First of all I don't think that you are loading master data attributes into an infocube, this must most likely be transactional data.

In your infopackage you have choosen that the data should only be loaded to the PSA under the processing tab. Any specific reason why you choose this instead of both PSA and data targets?

If you don't want to transfer the data into the PSA again, then go to the maintanence of the PSA tables (RSA1/RSA1OLD -> Modeling -> PSA) and locate the PSA that you transferred the data to -> right click -> schedule or start the update.

Hope it helps (assign points if helpfull!).

Hi,

in RSA1 -> goto PSA -> find your info source -> drill down the tree -> select the request -> right click -> update immediately, it will update data to the data target.
