In Depth Knowledge --XMII Framework

I am looking for some material which could give me an insight of how SAP XMII Framework is build up.

Also, if i want to develop something new add on to it, how should my approach should be?

I am aware of SAP XMII BLS, JavaScript and other HTML/applets use(Basic Proj Requirements..).

What else is required to gain further in depth knowledge?

Knowledge of XML is very helpful, and knowledge of Java programming is needed for extensibility (adding new BLS actions), knowledge of C# and/or C++ programming is needed for creating new UDS's.
