Namespace Empty

Former Member

Hi,

I created a new Product and SWC in SLD and imported the SWC in my ES repository. But when I create a New namespace under the new SWCV, it is empty. It does not give a drop-down for Data type, message type and all.

What could be the problem here.

Please help.

Best Regards,

Hari

Hi Sreehari,

Just cross-check the steps with this weblog:

Hi,

What name ere you giving for creating namespace.

Please can you check this and see if you were following this principle:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/4e/83623c9c6b530de10000000a114084/content.htm

try creating a namespace with sap.com and check if it works.

After Importing the SWC to IR, 1st activate it and then try to create the namspace in it.

Even refresh the cache could resolve it.

Thanks

Hi,

After you created the Namespace Under the SWCV Please save it and activate.

Or else you can close the IR window and re-open it.

Also goto Envoronment----Clear SLD data Cache

Hi,

I did save and Activate it.

And as you suggested, I closed and Re-opened it. Cleared the SLD data cache. But still, it is not showing Data types and all.

Do you think I have made a mistake while creating the SWCV.

Please reply.

Hi

To add a new namespace Double click on SWCV.

Go to change mode.

Here you can add your new namespace.

Save your SWCV.

New namespace will be enlisted under objects tab.

Open it and first activate default data type objects.

Then activate your SWCV.
