How to disable Project Summarization functionality in project profiles

I wanted to enquire as to how do I disable Project Summarization functionality completely against certain project profiles.I checked the project profiles in customization. The project summarization checkbox is not ticked for any.

Hi,

Try Using Substitution for the profiles to which you want to block/disable the Project summarization functionality.

If a substitution rule is assigned to the project profiles in question you can create the requirement as below or if no subs rule is assigned to the profiles create a new rule and assign the same to the profiles.

SPRO>Structures>WBS>Maintain Substitutions

Create(callup point-120,Appl area -PS) /or otherwise if rule is maintained

Prerequisite:

IF project Profile are x,y,z...(PROJ-PROFL = 'x','y',......)

Substitute:

Field is substituted by:

Project sum. Constant value 'blank' i.e. No.

Hi,

You can't default anything at the Project profile level as that itself is default level. Best you can restrict the authorisation for that transaction so that no one execpt administrator will be able to modify the project profile.
