Strange names BW query fields

Hello,

I tries to use VC for accessing to our SAP BW 3.5. According SAP recommedations I use SAP R/3 Dedicated connector in our SAP Portal (com.sap.portal.systems.sap.SAP_R3_Dedicated). SAP VC works with BW system fine, but all fields of BW queries have strange names like 'F_________________1____value' or 'F__________________currency' and etc. In result it is very difficult to recognize what this field means. I can see comments for these fields only in "Find data services" panel and "Define / Test query" dialog. In the table or form all these fields exists only as strange names.

This is a normal for VC or I have some configuration mistake?

Hi Eugeny,

We also get problem like this...

U should use fields that ends with "_value" or "_value0" and rename the labels of your table...

I know that each field returned from BW report displayed as 4 fileds in VC.

Please refer to SAP note 956694 and check if this is applicable. If not, open an support ticket at SAP Support and you'll get an answer.
