PGrp assignment in GOA

Hi Everyone,

I need an urgent help-

Our client's requirement is to use same purchase groups for for two different purchase Orgs. In standard SRM we cannot assign same purchase groups to different purchasing organizations. Example- Purchase Group ACC is attached to Pur Org 1200 in Org structure but same purchase group is needed to be used for Pur Org 1400. We are trying to use BADI- BBP_PGRP_ASSIGN_BADI to link these purchase groups to Pur Org 1400 too but we are not able to do that. Can anyone please suggest what could be the workaround or if anyone has sample code for this badi. We want to implement this BADI for GOA. All the answers will be rewarded.

Hi,

We had done a similar reqt for SC using the BADI "BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI".You can try the same thing for GOA.

Hi Kapil,

U have linked ACC with 1200.

Assign ur users under 1400.

And in ACC add the users of 1400 in the responsiabilty tab?

U dont have to maintain any pgrp below 1400.

It doesn't work buddy. You'll be able to create shopping cart but PO creation will fail since SRM determines Purchase org automatically from purchase group so, even if you have assigned the purchase org in the responsiblity tab of purchase group, it doesn't determine the purchase org in the backend while creating PO.
