SAPInst Problem installing Solution Manager

SAP Solution manager 4.0 SR3:

OS: Linux RHEL 5 (64bits)

DB: MAXDB

Hello,

after unsuccesful installation, today I wanted to start another sapinst –session to be able to set all parameters again. So I have deleted the folders, created by the recent sapinst-session, /tmp/-folders etc.

The new sapinst-session aborts now very early:

- Reading the Solution Manager Java Components DVD: ok

- Reading the Solution Manager Installation Export DVD 1: ok

- Reading the Solution Manager Installation Export DVD 2: aborts directly

ERROR 2008-03-17 15:13:11.561

CJS-00030 Assertion failed: SdbSoftware.getExistingDbmcli(): IndepProgPath /sapdb/programs exists, but /sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli is missing.

ERROR 2008-03-17 15:13:11.561

MUT-03025 Caught ESAPinstException in Modulecall: ESAPinstException: error text undefined.

I have no idea what to do.

Can anybody help me?

another problem:

I want to define the same Instance Number 00 for Central Instance and SCS Instance, but cannot do this by running a new SAPInst session.

SAPInst detects existing SAP System Instances

-> Instance DVEBMGS00 with Instance Number 00

-> Instance SCS01 with Instance Number 01

sapinst_dev.log shows:

"... found instance in cache"

How can I delete this cache?
