Vlue Contract quotation

Dear friends,

I need to create a quotation for a value contract. every line item has fixed unit rate, but not fixed qnty.

How quotation value will be determined if I am giving the unit Quantity?

What will be contract type? I can not see any copy control for quotation to value contract.

I have to create a value contract with reference to the quotation.

Can some one help me?

Hi Suman,

Generally in value contracts quotations, the minimum quantity is considered as base pricing mechanism.

e.g. we mention the price per 10000 units. Hence we will mention to custoemr the base pricing quotation. And then in mail u can mention the pricing based on qty slabs. Now u keep VPREI field in the incoming idoc (ORDERS) as variable according to variable quantity. Once the customer agrees to some qty he will get that slab and hence will create the contract accordingly with the price and the qty.
