Selling obsolete spares

Hi Experts ,

Please let me know the process you follow for for selling

i. Obsolete spares

ii. minor items like old news papers etc.

our Store person does not want to follow the details SD route for such sales. But management does not allow to sell it through FI entries.

Please write in a little details stepwise.

Full points will be awarded.

Dear santosh

You can try with the following for old papers:-

a) Create Material code (assume old papers) with material type NLAG

b) Item Category TAX

c) Schedule Line category CX

d) Maintain a seperate Tax classification for paper scrap in MM01 and assign in UTXJ

1. Can we sale NLAG material which is non stock in naturure? means without any inventory can we sale?

2. Can you please elaborate step 2-3 a little bit?

Its all depends on how the client requirement is. You can even create as FERT and assign Item Category Group as NLAG. So whenever the old papers gets accumulated, weigh it and create a scrap sale order according to the weight available, create delivery and invoice. If really helps, encourage accordingly with some points.)

Hi Lakshmi,

I have given you 6 points already for your informative reply. Need one more clarification after that I will give you full points.

How you handle sales of petty materials like bags, cartoons etc. Any short cut. Have you anytime used 251 mvt type.
